AML & KYC Policy

Ubyflow Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) Policy. Last updated: April 2026. This policy ensures our platform remains secure and compliant with international financial regulations.

1. Overview & Commitment

Ubyflow is committed to maintaining the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) to prevent our platform from being used for financial crimes. This policy outlines our internal measures to identify, manage, and mitigate the risks associated with money laundering and terrorism financing.

By using Ubyflow, you acknowledge and agree to comply with our verification procedures and reporting requirements.

2. KYC (Know Your Customer) Procedures

To ensure the security of our ecosystem, Ubyflow implements robust Customer Due Diligence (CDD). We require all users to undergo identity verification before accessing specific financial features.

Required information may include:

  • Full legal name and date of birth.
  • Government-issued identification (Passport, National ID, or Driver's License).
  • Proof of residence (Utility bills or bank statements).
  • Facial recognition or liveness checks for human verification.

3. Transaction Monitoring

Ubyflow employs automated systems and manual oversight to monitor all transactions for suspicious patterns. We look for indicators of money laundering, including but not limited to, rapid high-volume transfers, unusual layering of funds, and transactions with high-risk jurisdictions.

Suspicious activity may trigger an immediate request for Source of Wealth (SOW) or Source of Funds (SOF) documentation.

4. Sanctions & Prohibited Jurisdictions

We perform regular screening against global watchlists, including OFAC, UN, and EU sanctions lists. Ubyflow does not provide services to individuals or entities located in sanctioned countries or those identified as high-risk by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).

Accounts found to be associated with sanctioned parties will be immediately frozen and reported to the appropriate regulatory bodies.

5. Record Keeping

In accordance with international regulatory requirements, Ubyflow maintains detailed records of all identity verification data and transaction history for a minimum period of five (5) years following the closure of an account.

These records are stored securely and can be made available to law enforcement and regulatory authorities as required by law.

6. Reporting Suspicious Activity

Our Compliance Officer (CO) is responsible for reviewing suspicious activity reports (SARs). If Ubyflow determines that a transaction or account is linked to illegal activity, we reserve the right to report such findings to the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) or relevant law enforcement without prior notice to the user.

Ubyflow is prohibited by law from "tipping off" users regarding AML investigations.

7. User Obligations

You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information during the KYC process. You must notify Ubyflow immediately if your provided information changes.

Prohibited Actions:

  • Providing forged or stolen identification documents.
  • Using proxies or VPNs to bypass jurisdictional restrictions.
  • Conducting transactions on behalf of an undisclosed third party.

8. Enforcement & Account Restriction

Ubyflow reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate any account if we suspect a violation of this AML Policy or if the user fails to provide requested verification documents.

Any funds associated with suspicious activity may be locked indefinitely during the term of an investigation.

9. Risk Assessment

We conduct ongoing risk assessments of our users based on their transaction volume, geographic location, and behavior. Users classified as "High Risk" or Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) will be subject to Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).

10. Policy Updates

AML regulations evolve rapidly. Ubyflow may update this policy at any time to ensure ongoing compliance with global financial standards. Continued use of the platform constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
